Electrician/ Electrician Installation, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Skilled Electrician for the Fibrebond team in Minden, LA.
Hours:
54 hours per week (including overtime), between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Hourly pay: $20.90–$28.00, subject to experience and qualifications.
Relocation assistance for candidates living more than 50 miles from the Minden site.
What You’ll Do- Read and interpret blueprints to install electrical components accurately.
- Bend and install complex conduit configurations.
- Pull and terminate wire and large‑gauge power cable.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Assist teammates and lead crews on semi‑complex tasks.
- Anchor, secure, and properly bus and torque electrical gear.
- Maintain grounding integrity.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years electrical experience.
- Experience bending conduit and reading blueprints.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- No immigration sponsorship will be provided.
- Electrical certification.
- Journeyman‑level experience.
- Knowledge of NEC.
- Leadership experience with crews.
- Basic shop math and tape‑measure usage.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attendance and punctuality record.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Confidentiality of trade secrets.
- Wearing PPE: protective eyewear, hearing protection, steel‑toe boots.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., use ladders, stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and perform dexterous tasks.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
