Skilled Electrician

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Skilled Electrician for the Fibrebond team in Minden, LA.

Hours:

54 hours per week (including overtime), between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Hourly pay: $20.90–$28.00, subject to experience and qualifications.

Relocation assistance for candidates living more than 50 miles from the Minden site.

• Read and interpret blueprints to install electrical components accurately.
• Bend and install complex conduit configurations.
• Pull and terminate wire and large‑gauge power cable.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Assist teammates and lead crews on semi‑complex tasks.
• Anchor, secure, and properly bus and torque electrical gear.
• Maintain grounding integrity.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years electrical experience.
• Experience bending conduit and reading blueprints.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• No immigration sponsorship will be provided.

• Electrical certification.
• Journeyman‑level experience.
• Knowledge of NEC.
• Leadership experience with crews.

• Basic shop math and tape‑measure usage.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attendance and punctuality record.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Confidentiality of trade secrets.

• Wearing PPE: protective eyewear, hearing protection, steel‑toe boots.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., use ladders, stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and perform dexterous tasks.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
