Field Technician

As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be on the front lines, installing and repairing services and educating customers on their use. • Install and repair Broadband, Internet, TV, and mobile services
• Educate customers on equipment use and troubleshooting
• Maintain ongoing support and build lasting customer relationships
• Follow safety and quality procedures while working outdoors

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to travel to customer premises and company facilities, including inclement weather
• Fluent in English, strong technical communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record

• Proficiency in using computers and software applications
• Competence with hand tools and basic electrical work
• Ability to use weighted equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs
• Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights

• Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility, and reliability

• Walk over various terrains while carrying tools and equipment
• Safely use weight-bearing equipment and lift weights up to 75 lbs
• Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights
• Operate a company vehicle in changing environments
• Work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather

Base pay generally ranges from $20.00 to $25.25 per hour, with opportunities for self-progression, bonus payments, and additional incentive-based compensation such as bonuses. The program allows progression from Field Technician I to IV with 10% salary increases at each level.
