The LiRo Group seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure projects within our Engineering & Design department. In this role, you will manage environmental aspects of transportation, water, and urban infrastructure projects, including site investigations, impact assessments, permitting, and coordination with regulatory agencies. You will guide project teams, oversee budgets and schedules, ensure technical quality, and support sustainable, constructible design solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of environmental components of civil infrastructure projects
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and risk for multiple concurrent assignments
- Oversee preparation of environmental impact assessments, studies, and technical reports
- Coordinate regulatory permitting and maintain relationships with reviewing agencies
- Direct and mentor engineers, scientists, and subconsultants across disciplines
- Review and approve designs, analyses, and deliverables for technical quality and compliance
- Engage clients, lead meetings, and support proposal preparation and business development
- Integrate sustainability and resilience principles into project planning and design
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company standards on all assignments
- Support community and stakeholder outreach as needed for key projects
Required Skills
- Environmental impact assessment (NEPA/SEQR or similar)
- Civil and environmental engineering design fundamentals
- Regulatory permitting (local, state, and federal)
- Stormwater management and water resources principles
- Site investigations and environmental due diligence
- Project and program management methodologies
- Budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- Technical report writing and documentation
- Client and stakeholder communication
- Team leadership and staff mentoring
