The LiRo Group seeks a Geologist/Environmental Engineer/Scientist to support construction and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater investigations, remediation oversight, sampling and data analysis, and regulatory compliance support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare technical reports, and assist with permitting. Role offers field and office work, exposure to complex transportation and infrastructure projects, and strong mentoring, training, and career development opportunities in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform Phase I/II environmental site assessments for transportation, infrastructure, and building projects.
- Conduct soil, groundwater, and environmental media sampling and coordinate laboratory analysis.
- Support planning and oversight of remediation and mitigation activities at active construction sites.
- Prepare technical reports, data summaries, and regulatory submittals with clear analysis and recommendations.
- Assist with environmental permitting and compliance documentation for public and private clients.
- Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and scientists across disciplines on project design and execution.
- Participate in construction monitoring to identify and address environmental issues in the field.
- Implement and support health and safety protocols, including HAZWOPER and site-specific plans.
