Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing distribution organization to identify an Accounting Manager for a newly created, high-impact role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning work end-to-end, operating independently, and serving as a trusted accounting leader in a complex, multi-entity environment. This individual will effectively act as the Controller for a small group of entities
, while also supporting corporate consolidations. The role will play a key part in acquisition activity and apply strong managerial accounting and reporting insight to help inform business decisions and strategy. The position offers exceptional flexibility in how and where work gets done, paired with meaningful visibility and collaboration with senior leadership.

• Manage the timely completion of recurring close activities
• Oversee core ledger activity and key account reconciliations
• Review financial results to surface patterns and notable changes
• Support calculation and tracking of recurring financial estimates
• Coordinate with outside reviewers and reinforce control expectations
• Serve as primary accounting contact for financial systems
• Support system workflows, data quality, and operational alignment
• Resolve system-related accounting issues with internal partners
• Assist with the rollout and adoption of accounting process enhancements
• Improve recurring reports for clarity, consistency, and reliability
• Connect financial data with operational activity for visibility
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and better processes

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of accounting experience

• Salary Range: $100,000–$125,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
