Sr. Accounting Manager

Minneapolis, MN | Hybrid (4/1) | $140k - $165k + Full Benefits

We’ve partnered with a fast-growing advanced manufacturing company that’s scaling breakthrough technology from pilot operations into full commercial production. As the business grows, they’re looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to own technical accounting and government compliance while helping build strong, scalable financial processes.

This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys hands‑on ownership
, working closely with leadership, and applying deep government accounting expertise in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.

• Lead technical accounting under US GAAP, FAR, and CAS

• Own month‑end close
  , general ledger, and balance sheet accuracy

• Oversee government contract accounting
  , including indirect rates and cost pools

• Prepare and review DCAA‑compliant financial reports and audit documentation

• Support incurred cost submissions and federal reporting requirements

• Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance

• Guide and mentor accounting staff while strengthening internal controls

• Help improve processes as the company scales operations

• CPA required

• 6+ years of experience in government accounting or Gov Con environments

• Strong knowledge of FAR, CAS, and federal reporting

• Experience owning month‑end close and internal financial reporting

• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving organization

• Clear communicator with the ability to explain complex accounting topics
