Sr. Tax Accountant; bilingual

Primary responsibilities of this position include: mentoring Jr Accoutants, managing multiple clients with tax preparation fillings.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze general ledger activity and income statements
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Assist with year-end financial statement reviews and audits
• Support managers with client-facing accounting matters
• Participate in detailed accounting projects and process improvements
• Leverage accounting software, Microsoft Copilot, CoCounsel, and other AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain current accounting knowledge and best practices through ongoing training
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including reports, analysis, and review processes

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field (
  required
  )
• CPA exam candidate or actively pursuing CPA (
  strongly preferred
  )
• 3+ years of accounting experience (
  public accounting preferred
  )
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Experience with Accounting CS, Quick Books, or similar accounting software
• Comfortable using technology, automation, and AI tools
• Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese (
  preferred
  )
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
