Sr. Accountant

Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic team in Bloomington, Minnesota. Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.

- Reconcile accounts and bank statements to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.

- Maintain and update the general ledger to support precise accounting operations.

- Collaborate on international accounting tasks and consolidations to meet global financial standards.

- Provide detailed analysis and support for financial audits and compliance requirements.

- Assist in developing and improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency.

- Generate reports and financial statements to aid in decision-making processes.

- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounting functions.

- Support cross-functional teams with financial insights and expertise.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.

- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with a strong attention to detail.

- Strong proficiency in month-end close, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.

- Background in public accounting, particularly with Big 4 firms, is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Familiarity with accounting software and tools to streamline financial operations.
