Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex accounts receivable tasks while collaborating with vendors and clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset and exceptional organizational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

Responsibilities:

- Process electronic and manually entered invoices with precision and timeliness.

- Consolidate vendor invoices to ensure accurate billing for clients.

- Manage client-specific payment terms and oversee cash application processes.

- Perform detailed account analyses for each client to reconcile balances.

- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding unauthorized product deliveries and payment issues.

- Identify, research, and resolve open accounts receivable issues promptly.

- Collaborate with supervisors to address invoicing challenges and ensure smooth operations.

- Maintain positive relationships with clients while addressing their account needs.

- Utilize advanced systems and software for accounts receivable tasks.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities.

Requirements - High school diploma required;
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred with two or more years of relevant experience.

- Proven experience in high-volume accounts receivable or accounts payable tasks.

- Expertise in cash applications involving large payments and complex reconciliations.

- Proficiency in managing small transaction invoicing and resolving imbalanced accounts.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors.

- Advanced skills in Excel and Word; experience with complex systems preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in time-sensitive environments.

- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
