Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team supporting U.S. financial operations. This role will assist with key accounting functions including financial close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and audit support. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain exposure to a variety of accounting processes and contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with financial reporting and perform analysis of income statement and expense activity.
- Ensure accounting transactions are recorded in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
- Perform financial control procedures and help maintain compliance with internal control frameworks.
- Assist with the annual audit process, including documentation preparation and responding to auditor requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support operational processes.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support ad‑hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA or CPA‑track preferred.
- 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
