Accountant, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant

If you've got solid data entry skills and you're comfortable in accounting support work, this is a clean summer opportunity with a well-established organization. You'll work in-office with a small, experienced accounting team, support real financial operations, and have the opportunity to learn from a long-tenured Controller. Hours are flexible and built around your summer availability — targeting approximately 24 hours per week through Labor Day 2026.

Hourly pay is above market for this type of work.

This is an established Twin Cities-area organization with a seasoned finance team. The accounting department is led by a Controller with over two decades of experience. The team is small, professional, and focused — you won't be lost in a large corporate structure.

This is a temporary, part‑time Accounting Clerk position running through Labor Day 2026. You'll support the accounting team with:

• Data entry and manual upload of financial transactions into the company's accounting system (People Soft).
• Running standard financial reports as directed.
• Reconciliations and journal entry support.
• Coding and processing check payments once approvals are received.
• Supporting the team in areas where automated uploads are not yet available.

• Prior experience in an accounting clerk, accounts payable, or bookkeeping support role.
• Comfortable with data entry in financial systems (People Soft experience a plus, not required).
• Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters more than speed.
• Able to work independently and manage routine tasks with minimal supervision.
• Available to work in‑office in the Twin Cities metro area.

• Hourly pay in the low‑to‑mid $20s/hr — above market for this type of role.
