Accounting Specialist

Job Duties

• Process transactions, reconcile and maintain various accounts and ledgers.
• Transactions processed and maintained may include accounts payable, journal vouchers, vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, ledgers, statements, billings, and other accounting documents.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed.
• Conduct research on discrepancies and make appropriate corrections or adjustments.
• Respond to and resolve inquiries.
• Post data and/or checks and verify data.
• Run and prepare routine financial reports and analyses.
• Manual matching: pay attention to detail for matching items, clear 2000 items working an 8‑hour shift.
• Complete monthly reconciliation timely within the open monthly window.
• Research, escalat(??) and clear all aging within 5 days.

• Open to recent graduates.
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including MS Office applications.
• Experience with manual Excel, Enterprise Recon, Recon Tool.
