- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to leadership
- Partner with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting a plus)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
