We are a Minnesota-based, family-owned business looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Associate Accountant to join our team at our Friday MN sister location at Hydraulic Specialty Inc. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting to help meet the company’s overall goals.
We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of Accounting experience, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, dependable, able to meet deadlines, and has experience with accounting systems, financial data entry, reconciliations, and general accounting processes.
Hours:
Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay: $24-$29 Per hour |
Experience:
1-3 years plus Accounting history
- Daily cash journal entries, reporting, and reconciliation
- Weekly payroll and monthly recurring journal entries
- Electronic payment processing and posting
- Perform month-end account reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements
- File Sales Tax Reports;
Federal Excise Tax Reports;
Property Taxes - Compile Tow Truck out of state tows for third party processing
- Assist with capital asset accounting
- Filing Rebates
- May be assigned additional responsibilities as needed
