Accounting Specialist

Our Real Estate client is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. This position will focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting support.

Minneapolis, MN

• Process and maintain accounts payable transactions, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
• Support accounts receivable activities, including applying customer payments and maintaining accurate account records
• Assist with account and bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Provide support and review of general ledger activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Partner with internal departments to support daily accounting operations
• Assist with month‑end and other accounting projects as needed

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related is a plus
• Equivalent experience will be considered; candidates with significant related experience are encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies
• ERP knowledge preferred, and intermediate Excel skills
• Prior real estate/property management experience is a plus but not required
• This person must be a self-starter, Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience) + Bonus
