We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our fast‑paced Finance team. This position is for individuals passionate about numbers, detail‑oriented, and with strong financial operations knowledge. The Controller will oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, monthly reporting, general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, and ensure accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial data.

Salary

$90,000 - $130,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, reconciling account balances, and preparing reports.

Participate in ongoing development and implementation of the company’s financial systems and processes.

Analyze and present financial reports accurately and timely; communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements clearly.

Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.

Implement robust contracts management and financial reporting systems; ensure contract billing and collection schedules are adhered to and financial data support operational requirements.

Update and implement business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s policy and procedure manual.

Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to the company’s management team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required;
Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior‑level finance or accounting position.

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software; proficiency in accounting software.
