The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to manage detailed fund operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Direct the review of accounting records to support internal analysis and investor-facing reporting.

- Examine monthly deal-level and fund-level reporting packages, confirm completeness and accuracy, and provide formal approval for reporting deliverables.

- Assess balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules prepared by third-party providers to ensure account activity is properly documented.

- Contribute to the quarterly valuation process by evaluating valuation models, reviewing results, and comparing operating performance against budget expectations.

- Respond to valuation-related questions from investment and operations stakeholders and help maintain reliable financial information within business intelligence reporting tools.

- Prepare and validate quarterly calculations for management fees, placement-related fees, offsets, preferred returns, and general partner allocations.

- Perform principal and interest calculations across investment positions and support fund-level investment accounting activities.

- Review investor communications and reporting materials, including capital activity notices, investor statements, and financial statements, while coordinating distribution information with investor relations, treasury, and tax teams.

- Support annual audit activities by reviewing audited financial statements and footnotes, organizing requested documentation, and addressing auditor questions during interim and year-end procedures.

- Three to five years of relevant experience in fund accounting, alternative investments, financial services, or public accounting.

- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles applicable to investment funds.

- Demonstrated experience with balance sheet analysis, and financial statement review.

- Knowledge of valuations, investor reporting, and alternative investment structures.
