Accounting Analyst – Treasury & Investments
Minneapolis, MN
Temporary
$30-50/hr
- Hybrid work arrangement available
- Part‑time schedule: 20‑30 hours per week during standard business hours
Kelly is seeking an Investment Accounting Analyst to work with our client on a temporary, part‑time assignment expected to last approximately 6‑8 weeks. This opportunity will support the organization’s investment operations, treasury activities, and audit preparation while working closely with senior finance leadership.
Responsibilities- Partner Senior Leadership to support day‑to‑day accounting operations
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed
- Assist with wire transfer processing, including transaction entry and approvals
- Contribute to audit preparation by reviewing investment‑related financial documentation and ensuring required support is complete and organized
- Analyze audited financial statements received from external investment managers
- Complete audit support schedules, checklists, and financial statement footnote reviews
- Extract, organize, and summarize financial data for reporting purposes
- Reconcile limited partner net asset values (NAV) to overall fund NAV
- Provide additional accounting and finance support on special projects and other assignments as needed
- At least 2 years of experience in public accounting, audit, investment accounting, or a related accounting function preferred
- Experience working with an ERP or enterprise accounting system
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets and perform data analysis
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to prioritize competing responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders
