This Assistant Controller will report to the key finance leader for the company. The position will have exposure to full cycle accounting as well as budgeting and forecasting. There is an opportunity for advancement to take on a Controller title in the future. Our client is ideally seeking someone with Netsuite in their background. They offer fantastic benefits!
Responsibilities
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
- 6+ years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- Netsuite is preferred
- Will consider candidates out of public accounting
