Position Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, MN (only local candidates in MN will be considered. Weekly onsite presence required. Hybrid schedule after training)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday

We're partnering with a growing Twin Cities organization that is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their accounting team to aid in the growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers while managing day-to-day AR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you'll be responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate accounts, researching discrepancies, and supporting the overall accounts receivable process.

• Process and apply customer payments accurately to accounts and invoices.
• Prepare and send customer invoices and statements.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances as needed.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, credits, and billing issues.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate AR records.
• Assist with cash application and daily AR transactions.
• Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve account questions and discrepancies.
• Support month-end close and other accounts receivable activities as needed.

• 2+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience.
• Experience with cash application, invoicing, reconciliations, or customer account maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
