AP Specialist

Position Title:

Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary)

Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to provide immediate support to the accounting team during a high-volume period. This role is focused on invoice processing, data entry, check runs, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and can quickly dive in to invoice processing.

Job Duties /

Description:

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching for PO invoices
• Process both PO and non-PO invoices
• Support check runs, including check printing and returned check processing
• Update vendor payment and mailing information as needed
• Monitor and manage the Accounts Payable email inbox
• Assist with ACH vendor/customer banking information setup and maintenance
• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation
• Follow established AP processes and procedures
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as needed

Requirements:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience required
• Epicor experience preferred/strongly desired
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Knowledge of 2-way and 3-way invoice matching
• Experience processing check runs and payments
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable handling high-volume, transaction-focused work
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
