Our client is an organization in the St. Paul area that’s looking for a Staff Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, has excellent communication skills, and is organized. This company offers internal growth opportunities, high visibility, and a tenured team. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is up to $60K - $70K.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES- Handle daily cash activity, including receipts, customer payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Support AR functions, including cash application, collections, and DSO monitoring.
- Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide M&A accounting support as acquisitions occur.
- Help improve accounting processes, including credit card processing for website and Amazon sales.
- Support key projects, including ERP transition, banking changes, audit/tax support, and ad hoc requests.
The Staff Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1+ years of related experience, cost accounting experience preferred
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
