This person will work closely with the CFO and Senior Finance Manager and will take increasing ownership as they learn the business.
The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation but wants a role that goes beyond transactional accounting. We are looking for someone who is curious, analytical, responsive, comfortable with technology, and motivated to take ownership and grow.

- Participate meaningfully in the month-end close and take increasing ownership of assigned close responsibilities.
- Support inventory and other operational accounting as needed.
- Develop knowledge across critical accounting processes to provide meaningful backup and continuity within the Finance team.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and well-supported financial records.
- Work directly with the finance team on financial analysis, annual planning, forecasting, cash flow, gross margin, channel/customer profitability, and other ad hoc business questions.
- Work comfortably with financial data and spreadsheets to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide timely and responsive financial information and support to teams across the company.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, automate, and document recurring Finance processes.
- Use AI, automation, and emerging finance technology to reduce repetitive work and create capacity for higher-value analysis and business support.
- Take ownership of responsibilities, investigate issues, and follow work through to completion without requiring detailed direction.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance team to continue building cross-training, shared knowledge, and capacity across the department.
- Approximately 3–5+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Meaningful experience participating in month-end close.
- Experience with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and other core accounting processes.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and working with financial datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Net Suite or other ERP experience is helpful but not required.
- CPA is not required.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Curious and proactive, with the ability to learn quickly and solve problems independently.
- Ability and interest in analyzing financial information, not simply processing transactions.
- Strong communication skills and a responsive, service-oriented approach to supporting internal…
