The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor files, including contact information, payment terms, and tax documentation.
• Prepare and distribute customer statements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Receive, review, and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience with accounts payable, purchase orders, and customer statements
• Proficiency in invoice processing and vendor outreach
• Ability to perform three-way matching

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Oracle or large ERP systems is a plus
• Experience with AP automation tools is advantageous
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment, processing 150-200 invoices a day

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.85/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
