This is a full-time role based in Minneapolis, MN. The Receptionist will be responsible for handling front office reception and administrative duties, including but not limited to greeting guests and offering them a beverage, answering phones, handling company inquiries.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Ability to be in person five days a week (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm) at our offices in Bloomington, MN
- Answer phones and operate switchboard.
- Route calls to specific people.
- Answer inquiries about company.
- Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
- Ensure reception area is tidy.
- Monitor supplies and order when appropriate.
- Send faxes.
- Distribute outgoing and incoming parcels and mail.
- Perform basic filing and clerical duties.
- Assist Groups and Vacation teams as needed.
- Take and relay messages.
- Assist with preparation of Camp documents, update Excel spreadsheets and mailings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a front desk administrative role.
- Proven ability to create clear, professional communications (written and verbal for internal and external audiences).
- Experience managing office mail operations, including preparing, labeling, and coordinating shipments via USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, and other major carriers.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
