Office Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Part-time

East View Information Services (EVIS) is a Publishing company located in Minnetonka, MN. We are looking for someone to cover the Shipping & Receiving Clerk position while the current employee is out on a Leave of Absence. This is a part-time temporary position (March 2026 – November 2026). The job is on-site. This position is in an office setting with a shipping/receiving area.

• Flexible (Monday – Friday / 8am to 5pm)
• Total hours for week = 16 – 20

Ideally, the candidate will work Monday – Friday 10am – 2pm. However, we offer flexible hours – such as working two (2) – eight (8) hour days.

This position will be responsible for receiving and shipping products (books and documents). This includes packing/unpacking items and shelving them correctly. This person will be the primary source for all communications with the carriers (USPS, Fed Ex, etc.).

• Phone/computer skills – for example to contest incorrect charges on shipping bills and to locate missing items
• Detail oriented – unpack/deliver boxes to appropriate areas; maintains books on shelves (library maintenance); prepares items to ship internationally
• Communication skills – works directly with the Operations/Customer Service team
• Physical – Must lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly

• 6 months – 1 year of experience in Shipping/Receiving, preferred
• Must have high school diploma, or GED

Some travel is required to East View Map Link (the Warehouse) located in Maple Plain, MN (14 miles west of EVIS).

• Occasional (5%) and not daily. Reason for the travel is to retrieve items from the Warehouse to ship. Mileage is paid. Must have reliable transportation.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
