Job Summary The Strategic Partnerships Coordinator is a key member of the Strategic Partnerships team, serving as the operational backbone of the department through executive-level coordination, project management, partner communications, and administrative support. This role supports MnTC’s highest profile external relationships, fundraising initiatives, and departmental operations with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and execution.
This position serves as a trusted partner to the Senior Director and department leadership, managing key logistics, communications, systems, and special projects that directly advance MnTC’s strategic partnership and fundraising goals.
Project Management- Coordinate end-to-end coordination for major partner events, including logistics, vendor communication, timelines, and post-event reporting.
- Lead department communication projects through Asana, from creative brief through final approval and distribution, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Coordinate the Year End Appeal project, including ordering supplies, partnering with Marketing on creative development, and distributing final materials to the team.
- Coordinate sponsorship reports following major events, including Minneapolis and Mankato galas. Coordinate and support fundraising campaigns, partner initiatives, and departmental projects.
- Respond to and follow up with phone calls to partners requiring assistance with donations, event registration, credit card renewals, and giving opportunities.
- Manage follow-up related to partner contact information, in-kind donations, volunteer opportunities, and engagement pathways, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping in Raiser's Edge.
- Review and proof all outbound partner-facing communications including email, print, and digital materials, prior to distribution.
- Coordinate the quarterly donor anniversary card process, including pulling lists, preparing materials, and distributing to gift officers for delivery.
- Manage calendar coordination and meeting logistics for the Senior Director and department leadership, including preparing agendas, capturing meeting notes, and distributing follow‑up communications for Strategic Partnerships team and executive meetings.
- Serve as a key administrative resource for the Strategic Partnerships team, proactively supporting department operational needs on behalf of the Senior Director and Vice President.
- Coordinate production and fulfillment of mailing and solicitation projects including the Year End Appeal, Adopt a Room letters, and quarterly donor communications.
- Maintain MnTC Amazon Wish Lists.
- Assist with research projects in support of grant funding, prospective partners and donor engagement strategies.
- Support the CEO & Vice President with donor‑related Raiser’s Edge action inputs.
- Coordinate logistics, materials and room set‑up for senior leadership meetings.
- Maintain Microsoft Teams file organization and document storage for the Strategic Partnership department.
- Represent the Strategic Partnerships team in cross‑departmental meetings related to events, partner campaigns, and donor communications.
- Initiate the department’s marketing request process, including submitting tickets, scheduling kickoff meetings, gathering content, coordinating feedback between the Strategic Partnerships team and Marketing, and approving final pieces for print or distribution.
