Job Overview
Opened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 independent living, 106 assisted living, and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings make up this vibrant community and also encompass an on‑site Intergenerational Child Care Center.

The Receptionist provides miscellaneous clerical support.
Schedule- 40 hours every two weeks;
Part Time - 3:00 pm - 10:30 pm Shift
- Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other weekend
- Functions as receptionist for the building
- Greets and provides courteous assistance to visitors, residents, and vendors
- Answers the telephone, takes accurate messages and ensures delivery of message to appropriate person
- Maintains workspace in a clean and orderly way to create the best first impression to customers
- Responds to medical, fire, maintenance and security emergencies per building policies and procedures
- Provides clerical support as requested, including typing and sending out memos, communications, meeting minutes, letters, copying, collating and filing documents
- Submits work orders in TELS to ensure timely response to resident requests
- Copies, collates, files, records/documents as requested
- Schedules and reserves various rooms and Guest Suites within the building
- Orders office supplies as needed
- Manages, sorts, and distributes building mail and package pickup for residents
- Manages key fob system—entering and deleting key fobs
- Updates building Directories
- Manages and reconciles Petty Cash
- Supports sales and marketing department: collects information from prospective clients, may provide tours for prospective clients, may assist with new move‑in paperwork, pictures and keys
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of related work experience in a similar environment
- Additional experience in senior living or hospitality environment
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
