Legal Administrative Support Specialist
Larkin Hoffman is seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Legal Administrative Support Specialist. This position will work in the office to perform administrative support tasks that are common to all practice areas such as scanning, compiling, and assembling electronic and physical binders; utilizing expense report software to prepare and submit expense reports; and coordinating and collaborating on special projects. This position will also provide back-up to the Office Services and Hospitality Team, including covering the reception desk;
document production, editing, and manipulation; and cooperating as a team member with support staff in performing duties essential to the achievement of efficient operations. Candidates should have 1+ years of administrative support experience; prior law firm experience is preferred. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, be highly organized, have superior grammar and proofreading skills, and be detail oriented.
Familiarity with legal terminology, Net Documents, or document management systems is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, practice support specialists, and legal administrative assistants.
- Prepare/process timesheets, expense reports, client disbursements, client bills, and other billing responsibilities, as directed.
- Maintain and organize client files in Net Docs according to firm guidelines, or in paper files as needed.
- Assist with special projects and cooperate as a Team Member with other support staff teams (word processing, receptionist, or office services) by accepting and completing tasks in addition to their own assigned tasks, performing any duty essential to the achievement of efficient operations. Champion teamwork and cooperation for oneself and one's Team through actions, words, and behaviors.

Education and/or
Experience:
- Legal Administrative certification OR related college degree with 1+ years of law firm experience OR equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
- Preferred:
Legal Administrative certification OR degree with 1+ years of law firm experience. - Required:

Compensation:
The starting compensation range for this position is $53,000 to $58,000 and represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's years of experience, qualifications, and skill set.
