Position: Marketing Analyst (contract)

Job Summary

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to join a dynamic utility team dedicated to advancing residential conservation and beneficial electrification programs. In this support-focused role, you will work closely with product managers to help deliver impactful programs that make a real difference for customers and the community. You will contribute to a broad range of operational and administrative functions — from data management and budget tracking to customer interaction and public representation — gaining valuable hands-on experience across multiple facets of program delivery.

You will contribute to a broad range of operational and administrative functions — from data management and budget tracking to customer interaction and public representation — gaining valuable hands-on experience across multiple facets of program delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to product managers overseeing residential conservation and beneficial electrification programs
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry and ongoing database maintenance to ensure program records are current and reliable
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and internal events including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up documentation
  • Assist in the development and production of program collateral and communications materials
  • Support budget tracking activities by monitoring expenditures and flagging variances for review
  • Process contract approvals and invoices in accordance with company procedures and timelines
  • Interact with customers to resolve program-related inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Represent the company and its programs and services at meetings, workshops, and public events
  • Support the development and management of select program delivery components as assigned
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program operations and customer experience
Skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal collaboration and external customer interaction
  • Attention to detail, particularly in data entry, invoice processing, and budget tracking
  • Proficiency with standard office productivity and data management tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Customer service orientation with a professional and approachable demeanor
  • Comfort representing an organization in public-facing settings such as workshops and community events
  • Basic understanding of or interest in energy conservation, sustainability, or utility programs is a plus
Experience
  • Prior experience in an administrative, program support, or customer service role is preferred but not required
  • Experience with data entry, database management, or budget tracking in a professional setting is a plus
  • Any background in utilities, energy efficiency, or environmental programs is beneficial
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor  degree in a related field preferred
  • Any relevant coursework or certification in business administration, environmental studies, or energy management is a plus
