As a Purchasing Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement process within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include managing purchase orders, communicating with vendors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams are essential for success in this role.
salary: $23 - $25 per hour

Purchase Order Management
- Create, review, and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify product specifications, quantities, and pricing to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with department heads to confirm purchase requisitions and obtain necessary approvals.
Vendor Communication
- Communicate with vendors to discuss product availability, order confirmations, and expediting.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Data Entry and Record Keeping
- Accurately enter purchasing data into the procurement system and maintain electronic records.
- Generate reports on purchasing activities, expenditure and inventory levels as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and procurement.
Support Functions
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team, such as filing documents, organizing records, processing NCMs and RMAs, and responding to inquiries.
