We are currently seeking an experienced Collision Estimator / Blue printer to join our high-performing collision team.
$28-$31/hour
Position OverviewThe Collision Estimator/Blue printer plays a critical role in the repair process by accurately assessing vehicle damage, performing complete teardown and blueprinting, and ensuring a seamless transition from estimate to production. This individual will work closely with technicians, parts teams, insurance partners, and customers to drive efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare accurate, detailed repair estimates.
- Perform complete teardown/blueprinting to identify all structural and non-structural damage.
- Utilize estimating platforms such as CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex.
- Research and follow OEM repair procedures to ensure safe, compliant repairs.
- Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters to secure proper repair authorization.
- Prepare and manage supplements as needed.
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure accurate and timely ordering.
- Maintain photo documentation and detailed repair records.
- Provide clear, professional communication to customers throughout the repair process.
- Support production scheduling to maintain cycle time and efficiency goals.
- 2+ years of experience in collision estimating and/or blueprinting.
- Strong knowledge of structural and non-structural repair processes.
- Proficiency with CCC (preferred) or other estimating systems.
- Familiarity with DRP processes and insurance negotiations.
- Ability to read and interpret OEM repair procedures.
- I-CAR certifications (Platinum preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
