Mankato Motors Nissan is looking for a qualified Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as per dealer and factory standards and will build customer loyalty by effectively diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Qualifications
  • ASE certifications are ideal
  • Strong automotive background
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Willing to submit to a background check
  • Must have clean & valid driver's license
Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if any additional service is needed and provide an estimate of time for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
