Technician Position in Minneapolis, MN
Join our team in Minneapolis, MN, a vibrant city known for its rich culture and thriving tech community. We are seeking a skilled technician to support our CRM and NEURO division's products, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical devices.
Position Details- Primary Focus:
Mechanical & Electrical testing of CRM products. - Location:
100% onsite in Fridley, MN facility. - Target
Experience:
0-10 years, with flexibility for the right candidate. - Start Date:
ASAP.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical testing of medical devices.
- Ensure conformance to test plans and industry standards.
- Prepare and troubleshoot test setups and instrumentation.
- Plan test schedules to optimize equipment and technician time.
- Communicate effectively with management and customers regarding project status and priorities.
- Collaborate on projects and perform complex tests.
- Document processes and results using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Has a background in testing medical devices (preferred but not required).
- Completed vocational or technical education.
- Motivated to learn and work as part of a high-functioning team.
- Adheres to work instructions, policies, and good documentation practices.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, and EMC testing.
- Demonstrates safe work practices.
- Soldering and assembly experience.
- Familiarity with calibration and metrology services.
- Perform a variety of duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment and systems.
- Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
- Conduct tests and report data in prescribed formats.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks and make necessary adjustments.
