Service Runner

Walser Automotive Group is seeking a Service Runner for our Bloomington Toyota location. In this entry-level role, you'll keep our fast-paced service department running smoothly by safely moving vehicles throughout the lot, service drive, and shop, assisting technicians with vehicle staging, and supporting advisors with efficient customer flow. You'll help maintain clean, welcoming service and customer areas and provide friendly, professional interactions with guests.

This on-site position offers hands-on exposure to automotive service, clear training, and growth opportunities within a values-driven, customer-first dealership group.

Responsibilities

• Safely move customer and inventory vehicles around the service drive, lot, and shop
• Assist technicians and advisors with vehicle staging, pickup, and delivery
• Maintain a clean, organized service drive, customer lounge, and shop areas
• Perform basic cleaning of vehicles as requested (vacuum, wipe-down, remove trash)
• Support check-in and check-out of vehicles with friendly customer interaction
• Monitor parking areas and align vehicles for efficient flow and visibility
• Refuel, battery charge, or jump-start vehicles as directed by service staff
• Follow all safety, security, and key-control procedures and policies
• Communicate clearly with service advisors, technicians, and lot attendants
• Uphold Walser's customer-first, teamwork-focused culture in all interactions
