Licensing Operations Senior Analyst – S&P Global Market Intelligence

Join S&P Global’s Credit Solutions (CS) team to help protect, grow, and mitigate operational and regulatory risks in licensing credit products across a global client base.

Role Overview

Leading CS licensing governance and compliance, the Senior Analyst supports Product, Commercial, Legal, and Corporate teams in new and existing licensing agreements worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide insights and analysis on client use cases, licensing terms, and deal structures across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and recommend legal contracts to ensure consistency of deal terms and pricing.
  • Maintain high-level service quality for Product and Commercial teams by anticipating needs and driving continuous improvement.
  • Support licensing projects, key initiatives, and internal processes.
  • Educate stakeholders on best practices for licensing CS products and services.
Compensation & Benefits (US Applicants Only)

Base salary range: $80,000 – $135,000 (location varies). Eligible for a commercial incentive plan and full benefits package. For additional benefits details, visit S&P Global Benefits.

Basic

Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or commercial contract experience (e.g., paralegal).
  • 3+ years in compliance, legal, or risk management within financial services.
  • Commercial mindset, strong pricing concepts, and creative problem‑solving.
  • Team player; experience working cross‑functionally with Product, Commercial, and Legal.
  • Turn high‑level requirements into actionable plans and secure consensus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and adaptability.
  • Work independently in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Flexible across international time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Understanding of banking and asset‑management functions.
  • Data visualization experience (Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel.
  • Fluency in foreign languages.
