Schedule: Full-Time, Hybrid (up to 2 days/week onsite in Minneapolis)
Compensation: $28/hr + uncapped commission on new business

Are you a motivated Business Development professional ready to drive new revenue and build strong client relationships? We're seeking a Business Development Specialist with a proven ability to generate leads, cultivate new business, and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. Experience in marketing, advertising, media, or creative services is a plus!
This role is perfect for someone who excels in outreach, relationship building, and identifying new opportunities. High performers will be offered a permanent full-time role with salary, benefits, and room to grow into other areas of the agency.
What You'll Do- Generate and qualify new business leads across multiple channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, Linked In, networking events, and occasional travel
- Communicate agency capabilities and support proposal development
- Track activity and pipeline using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to support new opportunities
- Represent the agency professionally in meetings and industry events
- 2+ years in business development, sales, or client‑facing roles
- Experience in marketing/advertising/business services preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven success in prospecting, lead generation, and closing support
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to work hybrid (Minneapolis/St. Paul metro required)
- Willingness to handle occasional travel based on client opportunities
