This will be a seasonal part-time role, to last through the pending 2026 WNBA season and potential playoffs.

What Would you do? Position Summary / Objective

Individuals in this position will also provide pivotal support to the Group Events team with the execution and activation of game night fan experiences, promotions, and events before, during and after all home games.

Essential Functions
  • Assist with the fulfillment of all Group Events fan experiences at all Lynx home games.
  • Staff Redemption Zones, Member Lounge, & Member Central areas at Lynx home games.
  • Assist with implementation of single-game group ticket promotions and redemptions.
  • Interact with fans, field questions, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Support initiatives & promotions in the office as needed.
  • Perform and strengthen other duties as they are assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other
  • Positive attitude and desire to succeed required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • General technical skills within the Office 365 suite is preferred.
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work well on a team and independently.
  • Ability to manage specific processes and tasks in the department under supervision.
Additional information

Communications background, including Public Relations, Journalism and/or sports information experience is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Work is generally sedentary in nature. The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in gymnasiums, the Timberwolves/Lynx practice facility and a professional sports arena, which include bleachers/steps.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone.

Staff will occasionally ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff will frequently move boxes and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.

Salary

This role pays $17/hour.
