We’ve partnered with a well-established brand consultancy to identify an experienced Client Service & Strategy Director to join their growing leadership team. The Account & Strategy Director will play a critical role in shaping client partnerships, guiding strategic initiatives, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver thoughtful, impactful work. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while helping drive agency growth, operational excellence, and team development.
This role is ideal for someone who brings both big-picture strategic thinking and hands‑on leadership experience within an agency or consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities Client & Brand Strategy Leadership- Leading brand positioning and messaging development
- Guiding integrated marketing and communications strategy
- Developing strategic recommendations and key client deliverables
- Facilitating discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and strategic planning engagements
- Translating complex business challenges into actionable brand and marketing strategies
- Ensuring strategic work balances insight, creativity, and executional practicality
- Overseeing presentation development and executive-level storytelling
- Elevating the quality and consistency of strategic thinking across client work
- Leading senior‑level client relationships and strategic conversations
- Providing day‑to‑day account leadership and communication
- Building long‑term client partnerships rooted in trust and collaboration
- Ensuring client expectations are consistently met or exceeded
- Navigating evolving business priorities and complex conversations with confidence
- Proactively identifying opportunities, challenges, and solutions
- Helping clients connect brand strategy to business growth and organizational goals
- Supporting client retention and account growth opportunities
- Providing leadership across client engagements and strategic initiatives
- Partnering with account and project teams to support workflow, prioritization, and resource alignment
- Ensuring consistency and excellence across deliverables
- Fostering collaboration between strategy, creative, and execution teams
- Supporting team growth, mentorship, onboarding, and development
- Helping build scalable processes and operational efficiencies
- Contributing positively to agency culture, communication, and team engagement
- Contributing to agency growth strategy and leadership planning
- Supporting new business opportunities and proposal development
- Identifying opportunities to deepen and expand existing client relationships
- Participating in pitch development and strategic presentations
- Overseeing account planning and long‑term client success strategies
- Supporting revenue growth and client retention efforts
- 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, agency leadership, consulting, or client services
- Proven success leading complex client relationships and strategic engagements
- Strong understanding of branding, messaging, marketing, and communications strategy
- Experience leading and collaborating across cross‑functional teams
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to think strategically while managing executional details
- Experience contributing to business development and organizational growth
