The Customer Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of the Customer Experience Center: training classes, customer events, plant tours, and local visitor entertainment. This includes managing logistics, stakeholder communications, hospitality, accommodations, and ensuring the facility is visitor‑ready at all times.
In addition, the role supports virtual training by managing the webinar platform and hosting sessions using tools like Go To Webinar or similar software. While content creation is not required, the coordinator will become skilled in delivering smooth, professional webinar experiences.
Responsibilities Event & Facility Coordination (Primary Focus)- Plan and schedule training classes, workshops, and plant tours.
- Manage attendee registration and communications (invitations, confirmations, reminders).
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for lodging, catering, transportation, and AV needs.
- Oversee room setup, AV readiness, and materials for training; ensure timely setup/tear-down and cleaning.
- Maintain facility readiness: cleanliness, supplies, restocking, AV/IT functionality, and safety compliance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.

- Act as technical host during webinars: manage audio/video, screen sharing, and troubleshoot issues.
- Become proficient in Go To Webinar (or similar platforms) and apply best practices for virtual events.
- Track attendance and engagement metrics; report insights for improvement.
- Maintain enrollment and attendance records for both in-person and virtual events.
- Track budgets for events and webinars; manage invoices and expense
- Collaborate with training managers, sales leadership, operations, and plant managers to design visit agendas and support virtual training needs.
- Be available for occasional non-standard hours for events or webinars.
- 5+ years of event planning and facility management experience.
- 2+ years of vendor management and budgeting experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.
- Attention to detail for scheduling, logistics, and reporting.
- Ability to navigate problem solving effectively and calmly.
