Principal Business Operations Analyst

The Transformation Office drives operational efficiency and strategic change across Datasite through four pillars: the FDE Program, AI Enablement, Non‑AI Transformation, and Operations / Executive Support.

The Principal Business Operations Analyst is the connective, do‑everything engine of the Transformation Office – a senior right hand to both the Director of Transformation Programs and the VP of Transformation, operating across all four pillars. This high‑velocity, multi‑hat role requires an experienced operator who thrives on variety and can complete large volumes of work efficiently.

• Support the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) program with opportunity intake, requirements capture, coordination across paired teams, and tracking of planned vs. actual value.
• Operate as an operational lever: take ambiguous, high‑priority asks from Transformation leadership and transform them into polished first drafts and finished deliverables such as decks, executive communications, briefing documents, trackers, status updates, and analysis.
• Lead end‑to‑end data analysis across financial, operational, and AI usage domains, focusing on ROI, cost optimization, and consumption economics.
• Provide AI enablement support and ad‑hoc AI analysis, pulling, structuring, and analyzing large datasets to answer questions quickly.
• Maintain the transformation portfolio and intake funnel, tracking initiatives, keeping documentation current, and ensuring correct routing.
• Identify and build process automation solutions for recurring workflows (reporting, intake, tracking, templates) to reduce manual effort.
• Jump into any pillar as capacity needs arise, filling gaps across the Transformation Office.

• 6–9 years of experience in business operations, chief‑of‑staff adjacent roles, management consulting, program leadership, or business analysis – ideally in SaaS, technology, or a PE‑backed environment.
• Generalist mindset with strong execution instincts: turns ambiguous asks into clear, polished outputs with minimal direction.
• Background in data retrieval and analysis; comfortable pulling and structuring large datasets; SQL or equivalent querying skills a plus.
• AI fluency—understands AI and automation capabilities and can apply AI tools to accelerate work.
• Process‑automation aptitude—identifies repetitive tasks and builds reusable solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; drafts reviewed by senior leaders.
• Highly organized, fast‑moving, and able to shift priorities daily.
• Low ego, high ownership; willing to perform both high‑visibility and behind‑the‑scenes work to support leadership.

A high‑output generalist who enjoys wearing multiple hats, can build an automation in the morning, run a data pull for an AI question midday, and draft an executive deck by end of day, and prefers flexibility over a single lane.

• Competitive base salary ranging from $99,000 to $172,700, with potential bonuses, commissions, or overtime.
