Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: FACILITIES&COMPLIANCE MANAGER, Traveling

The Role

Bright Path is a Minnesota 245D provider of residential and community-based services for individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges across the Twin Cities metro. Our Compliance Manager is the person who keeps our quality and compliance engine running reviewing incidents, catching patterns before they become problems, and making sure every program meets or exceeds 245D standards.

This is a hands-on role, not a policy-binder job. You'll work inside Therap daily, sit at the table with directors and program managers weekly, and own the corrective action process end to end. If you know 245D cold and you like fixing root causes instead of chasing symptoms, this is your seat.

What You'll Actually Do

Incident & medication oversight (daily)

  • Review GERs, incident reports, and MAARC/CPS entries; request edits, drive follow-up, and elevate high-risk incidents (injury, restraint, 911, elopement, maltreatment)
  • Monitor medication errors and MAR compliance in Therap, including pharmacy interface and low-supply tracking
  • Lead internal investigations when needed and coordinate timely, accurate reporting to state agencies

Quality assurance & pattern analysis (weekly/monthly)

  • Run root-cause analysis on significant or repeated incidents and issue corrective action plans (CAPs) that actually stick
  • Review T-logs and documentation for trends, red flags, and training needs
  • Lead Bright Path's Quality Assurance & Compliance meetings with directors and program managers, and report out at weekly GER close-out
  • Audit client paperwork deadlines (ISPs, 45-day and annual plans, revisions) across all programs

Regulatory & licensing

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Minnesota 245D and related federal requirements; translate regulatory changes into workable policy
  • Prepare for and manage DHS licensing reviews, surveys, and investigations
  • Oversee person-centered plan development and documentation standards for all service types

Systems & relationships

  • Maintain and optimize our Therap EHR configuration and compliance tracking
  • Train and coach staff on documentation requirements building competence, not fear
  • Maintain relationships with case managers and lead agencies; assist in intake and service review meetings
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in 245D settings creating and implementing service plans
  • At least 2 years of direct client oversight in disability services
  • Demonstrated expertise in Minnesota 245D regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency with Therap EHR and Google Workspace
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for Twin Cities metro travel
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent experience considered)
Bonus Points For
  • Compliance program oversight or QA leadership experience
  • Internal audit and root cause analysis background
  • HIPAA, OSHA, and federal healthcare regulation knowledge
  • Direct experience with DHS licensing reviews and corrective action processes
  • Familiarity with CADI, DD, BI, CAC, and Elderly Waiver requirements
  • CHC or CPHQ certification
  • Salary: $70,, based on experience and qualifications
  • Health: Medical, dental, and vision insurance (first of the month after 60 days)
  • Retirement: 401(k) with 3.5% company match after one year
  • Time off: PTO plus Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST); major paid holidays
  • Growth: Support for compliance certifications and continuing education, direct mentorship from senior leadership, and a clear runway toward director-level work
Know Before You Apply
  • On-call: This position participates in an after-hours on-call rotation for incident response and emergency consultation. On-call stipend provided.
  • Travel: Regular travel throughout the Twin Cities metro to multiple service sites. Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
