Marketplace Platform Analyst

As a Marketplace Platform Analyst, you'll support the strategy and delivery of numerous initiatives and partnerships focused on driving e-commerce growth across Best Buy merchandise categories. This role requires familiarity with e-commerce best practices and supporting capabilities, such as supply chain and order management, to identify and drive growth across a variety of assigned initiatives. You will work closely with external partners, technology teams, and numerous internal cross-functional teams to successfully launch and grow prioritized opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to think strategically while executing tactical operational and business improvements.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

• Oversee Best Buy's account health for Amazon, eBay, and other marketplace accounts by monitoring active listings, product content quality, order health, and customer experience.
• Ensure the Best Buy brand is represented consistently across external marketplace platforms while meeting seller expectations.
• Articulate e-commerce business metrics for budget and annual reviews, including listing and catalog status, product condition opportunities, inventory thresholds, seller rating impacts, and promotional events, and provide timely recommendations to achieve business goals.
• Identify and track key operational KPIs to optimize processes and drive efficiencies by leveraging systems and technology to reduce labor needs and increase scalability.
• Partner effectively across technology, operations, marketplace, merchandising, supply chain, legal, and finance teams to support business growth for each channel and execute key promotional events.

• 1 or more years of experience with internal and external data sources conducting analysis focused on problem-solving and optimization.
• 1 or more years of experience in e-commerce, merchandise planning, demand planning, supply chain, or a related business function.
• 1 or more years of experience communicating and partnering with vendors or third parties.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with marketplace ecosystems such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, eBay, etc.
• Experience working with technical business teams, including product or engineering organizations.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
