We are seeking an experienced Travel Construction Superintendent to oversee multiple retail and commercial construction projects across the Minneapolis area and surrounding markets. This is a hands‑on, travel‑intensive role focused on field leadership, subcontractor coordination, and schedule execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, decisive, and experienced in fast‑paced retail and commercial construction environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily on‑site construction activities for retail and commercial projects, ensuring work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and site personnel to maintain productivity and schedule adherence.
  • Enforce all safety programs, site policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track job progress, complete daily reports, and communicate schedule and field updates to project management and ownership.
  • Identify and resolve field issues quickly, providing practical solutions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, clients, and stakeholders to meet project expectations.
  • Travel frequently between job sites within Minneapolis and surrounding areas as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent within retail and or commercial construction.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in active environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, inspections, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to travel consistently and adapt to varying job site conditions.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
