What You’ll DoYou’ll investigate building conditions, documenting findings, and help clients make informed repair or replacement decisions.
- Perform on-site inspections of roofing, façade, and exterior building systems
- Evaluate damage, deficiencies, and performance issues, including storm-related impacts
- Prepare clear, professional reports describing observations, causes, and recommended solutions
- Support repair design, specifications, and documentation when needed
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, timely project outcomes
- Conduct quality assurance site visits and document progress with photos and field notes

- Experience or familiarity with roofing systems, façade materials, or building envelope construction
- Interest in investigations, condition assessments, or forensic evaluation
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic exposure to AutoCAD or Revit is helpful but not required
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
- Ability to safely access roofs, confined spaces, and lift typical inspection equipment
Successful candidates come from architecture, construction, engineering, building science, or facilities/condition assessment backgrounds and bring an understanding of exterior building systems such as roofing, façades, or waterproofing.
