The estimator/Project Manager’s primary responsibility is two‑fold: (1) bid and secure projects within the Commercial Market with an emphasis on Asphalt Paving & Grading, and (2) overall management to the satisfaction of the Client and the standards of our company.
Responsibilities- Accurately estimate quantities and productions/crews required
- Evaluate design options and recommend alternative solutions or approaches as needed to secure work
- Complete job setup including subcontracts and purchase orders
- Track job costs and accurately project cost to complete – complete fiscal responsibility
- BS degree in Construction Management or equivalent
- Good PC skills – proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Blue Beam and all HCSS software programs
- Prepare 3D Volumetric Plans
- Project experience up to $25M
