Overview
Project Manager II – Minneapolis, MN or Austin, TX.Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in a design‑build environment. The role requires a focus on schedules, budgets, contracts, and collaborating with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities- Work with project schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports.
- Lead construction progress meetings.
- Oversee design development.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, profit projections, schedules, and bid documents.
- Negotiate and award subcontracts.
- Conduct jobsite coordination meetings and job status reports.
- Work directly with owners/clients, field teams, subcontractors, and various internal teams for support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management.
- 6+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial, healthcare, retail, office, senior living, and multi‑family experience preferred).
- Proven ability to manage commercial projects in the $1‑$75million range.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
- Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface, and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors, and owners/clients.
- Willingness to travel for projects if needed.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft Office and other project management tools.
- Communicate proactively and effectively, focus on customers, and display a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
Annual salary range: $105,000 – $120,000 (depending on location and qualifications).
