IQ Resource Group is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator Trainee to join a growing team in Ramsey Minnesota!
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, materials management, customer communication, and field operations while developing the skills needed to advance into a Project Coordinator position.
Location:
Anoka/Ramsey, MN
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (Based on Experience) with a pay increase after the training period.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | Start Times Between 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM
40+ Hours Per Week | Overtime Opportunities Available
What You'll Be Doing:
Project Coordination & Material Management
- Organize and stage materials according to project schedules.
- Obtain material quotes and place necessary orders.
- Review project plans and prepare materials in advance to keep projects on schedule.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available when needed.
- Communicate daily with field crews regarding current and upcoming project needs.
- Identify material shortages and proactively assist with scheduling adjustments.
- Work directly alongside project managers on residential and commercial restoration projects.
- Assist with water damage mitigation, demolition, cleanup, and restoration activities.
- Set up, monitor, and track drying equipment.
- Perform basic interior demolition and material removal using hand and power tools.
- Conduct project walkthroughs and communicate project updates with homeowners and customers.
- Maintain quality standards and assist with final inspections.
- Customer service, dispatching, project coordination, construction, restoration, or related experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and mobile communication applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Basic carpentry or construction experience is a plus.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Desire to develop into a Project Coordinator role.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Availability for occasional overtime, emergency calls, and rotating on-call schedules.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
