Project Engineer Opportunity with a top tier demolition/carpentry Subcontractor!
Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year.

Operating as a trusted trade partner, the company performs selective interior and structural demolition, as well as rough and finish carpentry for complex build-outs and renovations.

- Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing demolition and carpentry projects
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure project accuracy
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking to ensure projects stay on time and within budget
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and execution
- Participate in jobsite walks, progress meetings, and safety discussions
- Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Assist in material procurement, equipment coordination, and logistics planning
- Monitor field progress and help identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3+ years of experience in construction, preferably with exposure to demolition, interiors, or carpentry scopes
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong understanding of building systems, construction sequencing, and jobsite operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar)
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience working for a subcontractor or specialty contractor
- Exposure to selective demolition, tenant improvements, or commercial interiors
- Field experience or carpentry background is highly valued
