Lead Construction Materials Technician (Traveling Role)

Nationwide Travel Required | Data Center Projects

Seeking an experienced Lead Construction Materials Technician to support large-scale data center construction projects across the U.S. This is a traveling role ideal for someone dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable leading teams in the field.

• Perform field testing and inspections on construction materials
• Document daily observations and ensure accurate reporting
• Review test data for completeness and quality
• Lead and mentor technicians on large project sites
• Coordinate with engineers and clients to meet data center project specs

• 5+ years of construction materials testing (CMT) experience
• Experience on large commercial, industrial, or data center projects
• Strong plan reading and field data collection skills
• Knowledge of Special Inspections
• Proficient with MS Office (iPad experience a plus)
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Ability to travel extensively and work overtime/weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• ICC Soils Special Inspector
• ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector
• ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician I

• ACI Concrete Strength I
• ICC Prestressed Concrete Special Inspector
• Nuclear Gauge / Radiation Safety

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis,MN.
